farmers’ ‘Kisanoki Chai Pe Charcha aur Chinta’

In March Narendra Modi selected village Dabhadi Yavatmal district of Vidarbha
for ‘Chai Par Charcha’(talk of tea time ) main mass public contact electioneering
programme ,the region known as epicenter of farmers suicides since 2004 for
interacting with farmers across the country and ‘Vidarbha farmers suicide’ and main issues
behind prevailing distress and despair, Modiji raised in all election meeting
of rural India & farmers from not only
vidarbha but from all over India has given him massive support with high hopes and
PM Modi has shown his serious concern and asked his senior colleague and gross-out
Leader from Vidarbha Nitin Gadkari to
come out with time bound relief package for integrated structured solution to
stop ongoing farmers suicide immediately and Nitin Gadkari has contacted
vidarbha farm activist group vidarbha Janandolan samiti (VJAS) convener Kishore
Tiwari to submit integrated presentation
consulting all stakeholders, framers and tribal
to address this vidarbha crisis on all front and on 2nd june
farmers of Yavatmal district has arranged meeting in village Maregoan where parliament
committee on agrarian crisis headed Basudeo Acharya MP visited in 2012 and
submitted it’s report but UPA failed to
implement same hence now 2 June ‘Kisanoki
Chai Pe Charcha aur Chinta’ is another serious attempt to take vidarbha
agrarian crisis on national radar , Mohan Jadhav secretary VJAS informed in press conference today.
‘Vidarbha classic example of
complete neglect and apathy of Govt. on rural economy and distressed starving
rural India as issues of farmers and tribal has been matter of discussion for media and
election issue for political parties but for first time PM is serious to take advice
with concerned farmers and tribal not with so called agriculture expert and
economist who are created this pathetic condition hence we are hopeful to have
urgent relief on economic front related to cost of agri. produce
,cost of seed, fertilizer and pesticide
, hostile credit network and very poor health, educational and industrial facilities in the area ’ Kishor Tiwari of VJAS has added.
Main issue which were focused and
brought before PM Modoji on 20th
march Dabhadi (Yavatmal) are issues of
loss making minimum support price ,non availability
of crop loan ,poor Irrigation, market
infrastructure and transport infrastructure ,Lack of resources and the absence
of adequate incentive structures ,anti-farmer Policy & Inadequate technology ,Non availability
of crop insurance in many states now we will focus our 2nd June ‘Kisanoki Chai Pe Charcha aur Chinta’ on
the same issues but asking for more targeted urgent relief ,we have invited all
vidarbha MPs to this function and we will submit all farmers and tribal demands
to PM Modiji thorugh main NDA leaders Nitin Gadkari, shiv sena chief Udhav
Thakary, Rual dev. Minister Gopinath Munde ,BJP Mah chief Devendra Phadanavis
all MPS of vidarbha region in both
houses of parliament and we are expecting another mega relief package for Maharashtra
farmers, Tiwari said.
