When newly elected Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis  was reviewing vidarbha crisis in his two days tour of farm suicide affected region same time seven debt trapped distressed and drought ridden farmers killed themselves as per reports indentified as Kashiram Indore and Digabar Nimbhokar from Akola district ,Vinod Malik and Kisan Shanwhare from Amaravati, Suresh Gugul from Chandrapur,Raju Rathode from Washim ,Ramkrishnna Gawande from Buldhana  taking toll 1022 in the year 2014 which is  showing increasing trend in last five years as region is grilling severe drought and agrarian economic recession as farmers are being forced to sale only cash crop cotton and soybean in much more lower rate than minimum support price moreover their cost cultivation has been double and production has been dropped to 50% as per GR issued by Govt. of Maharashtra on 25^th November 2014 ,Kishor Tiwari of Vidarbha Janandolan Samiti only activist group monitoring farm suicide in Vidarbha since 1995 has termed these  recent farm suicides since new BJP ruled  Modi Govt. as farmers genocide due to continuous apathy and betrayal from promises of addressing farm suicides issues of  hostile minimum support price, exploitation of farmers from free economy ,very poor credit facility of banking institute and completely failed disaster management even after the repetitive alerts of severe drought and crop failure in the region since June 2014 and matter of National Shame  when Indian Prime Minister has come to power by making vidarbha farmers suicides as key issue of national election and giving toll promises of raising MSP as per Modi formula of investment plus 50% profit and taking banker to doorstep of farmers for  crop loan  but all elections talks are turning to hoax ,which is fueling more despair and increasing farmers suicides in region.

Maharashtra Govt. has rubbed salt on the wound of the farmers when they declared relief aid package admitting severe drought in 10,000 villages of vidarbha region affecting 2 million farmers but all relief measures have ignored basic demands of crop failure compensation, crop loan waiver , providing food, fodder, water and employment  to crisis driven distress rural population of region ,when last two days vidarbha reported seven innocent farmers genocide same time other drought hit region marathawada of Maharashtra  has reported seven farmers more suicides which is much more irritating as all political parties are doing dirty politics of issue but not serious for the requisite relief aid ,Tiwari added.

The Delegation of distressed farmers met Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis  at Amravati on 28^th November and submitted six demands asking Rs.25,000 per hector compensation due to crop failure , complete crop loan waiver, 100 days wage subsidy under NAREGA to drought hit farmers , free food, health and education security to all drought hit families of the region and complete ban of liquor and gambling like mataka ,Tiwari urged CM in his meeting

आजच्या यवतमाळ भेटीत आत्महत्याग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांना जिल्हा  पोलीस मार्फत सर्किट हाउसला ताटकळत ठेऊन  महाराष्ट्राच्या मुख्यमंत्री  यांना न भेटताच  निघुन गेल्याने  व राज्याचे महसूल मंत्री एकनाथ खडसे यांनी  सरकारची तिजोरी खाली आहे पिककर्ज ,कापसाला बोनस  व वीज बिल माफी देता येत नाही मोबाइलवरचे बोलणे थांबू नये म्हणून तुम्ही दरमहा मोबाइल बिल भरताच ना! मग वीज बिल नियमित का भरत नाही, अशा शब्दांत  यांनी रविवारी अकोला येथील दुष्काळी आढावा कार्यक्रमात शेतकऱ्यांनाच  उपदेश  दिल्याने विदर्भाचे दुष्काळग्रस्त शेतकरी व्यथीत झाले असून , शेतकरी अभूतपूर्व संकटात असतांना त्यांच्या अडचणी ऐकण्यास वेळ नसणे तर त्यांना दिलासा न देता मस्तवालपणा दाखविणे हा तर शेतकऱ्यांच्या जखमेवर मीठ चोळण्याचा प्रकार असुन आम्ही  भाजप सरकारला येता हिवाळी अधिवेशनात शेकडो शेतकरी विधवांच्या हातांनी मिठाचे पोत देऊन आपला  त्रागा प्रगट करणार अशा  तिव्र शब्दात शेतकऱ्यांना मदतीच्या  उशिरावर शेतकरी नेते किशोर तिवारी यांनी   महाराष्ट्राच्या मुख्यमंत्री व महसूल मंत्री  वागण्यावर  व्यक्त केली आहे . 

या पुर्वी जेंव्हा जेंव्हा भारताच्या   महामाहीन राष्ट्रपतीसह  केंद्रीय मंत्री यांनी यवतमाळ शहराला भेट दिली त्यांनी वेळात वेळ काठून शेतकरी विधवा व शेतकर्याना  वेळ दिला आस्थेने विचारपुस केली पण ज्या यवतमाळ जिल्यात भारतात सर्वात जास्त शेतकरी आत्महत्या झाल्या असून पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी व महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री  दाभाळी  येथे  विषेय  राष्ट्रीय शेतकरी चर्चा  केली व शेतकरी आत्महत्यांचा  मुददा रेटून केंद्रात व राज्यात सत्ता काबीज केली ते सरकार पदारुड होताच आपल्या जाहिरनाम्यानुसार पिककर्ज ,बीज बिलमाफी  देणार ,लागवड खर्च अधिक ५० % नफा  असा कापसाचा व सोयाबीनचा हमीभाव तात्काळ देणार अशी आशा सर्व विदर्भ मराठवाड्याच्या कोरडवाहू शेतकर्याना होती मात्र मागील सहा महिन्यात भारताच्या मोदी सरकारने ह्या मागण्या विचारातच घेतल्या नाहीत तर आता १५ वर्षानंतर सत्तेवर आलेल्या राज्याच्या भाजप सरकारने चक्क हातच वर केल्यामुळे शेतकरी विश्वासघात  झाल्याचा अनुभव घेत आहेत व  यामुळेच मोठ्या प्रमाणात शेतकरी आत्महत्या होत असल्याचा आरोप किशोर तिवारी यांनी केला आहे 

आपण महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री  यांना निवेदन देऊन    शेतकरी वाचवा व या कोरडवाहु शेतकऱ्यांना मदतीचा हात द्या अशी विनंती करून खालील मागण्या सादर केल्या आहेत 

-कोरडवाहु शेतकऱ्यांच्या  प्रमुख मागण्या 

१.सर्व दुष्काळग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांना प्रती हेक्टरी वीस हजार रुपये सरसकट नुकसान भरपाई वा मदत देणे 

२. दुष्काळग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांच्या सात-बारा कोरा करणे 

३. कोरडवाहु शेतकऱ्यांना रोजगार हमी योजनेमधून प्रती हेक्टरी १०० दिवसाची मजुरी सरळ अनुदान रूपाने देणे 

४. कापूस -सोयाबीन   - धानासाठी  राष्ट्रीय शेतकरी आयोगाच्या शिफारशी प्रमाणे लागवड खर्च अधिक ५० % नफा  असा हमीभाव द्या . 

५-सर्व आदिवासीना तात्काळ  अन्न  सुरक्षा व  खावटी देणे   

दुष्काळग्रस्त आदिवासी  शेतकऱ्यांच्याना व शेतमजुरांना सरसकट  अंत्योदय योजने नुसार अन्न सुरक्षा व  खावटी वाटप  करा . 

६- आरोग्य सेवा 

सर्व दुष्काळग्रस्त  शेतकऱ्यांच्याना व शेतमजुरांना २०१३ च्या यादी नुसार बी पी  एल चे  कार्ड देऊन मोफत वैद्दकिय सेवा  सर्व दवाखान्यात मोफत देणे 

७..सर्व दुष्काळग्रस्त  शेतकऱ्यांच्याना व शेतमजुरांनावृद्धाना व विधवा  मासीक अनुदान -सर्वदुष्काळग्रस्त  शेतकऱ्यांच्याना व शेतमजुरांना शेतकरी विधवा ,परितक्त्या महिलांना दरमहा कमीतकमी हजार रुपये मासीक अनुदान व सरकारी नौकर सारखे प्रत्येक महीन्याला १ तारखेला बँकेतून देण्याची योजना दया ,अशी माहिती किशोर तिवारी यांनी दिली मात्र सरकार या मागण्यावर गंभीर नसुन शेतकऱ्यांशी चर्चा करण्यास टाळाटाळ  करीत असल्याचा आरोपही तिवारी यांनी केला आहे .

The Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti, an aggressive farmers' advocacy group, plans to stage demonstrations outside Chief Minister's residence in Nagpur during the winter session of the assembly, which starts from December 8.

Led by Kishor Tiwari, an engineer- and MBA-turned activist, the VJAS will highlight the issue of farmer suicides in the region. Tiwari, who is the president of VJAS, is known for his inflammatory and provocative language during agitations.

Speaking to dna over phone, Tiwari pointed out that more than 4,000 farmers have committed suicide in 2014, with Vidarbha accounting for about 1,000 deaths, because of inaction on the part of the government.

Tiwari said BJP leaders, including late Gopinath Munde, had held the previous Congress-NCP government responsible for the suicides. "If the Fadnavis government is not in a position to prevent any suicide, what should we term it as?"

The firebrand leader said VJAS is left with no option but to launch an intense agitation outside Ramgiri, CM's official residence in Nagpur. Underlining the demands of the Samiti, he said, "Cotton growers whose crop has been damaged should be paid investment money plus 50 per cent of their profit in addition to loan waiver."

Stressing that the crop have been damaged on over 20,000 hectares, Tiwari said the farmers should be included in Antyoday Yojana so that they can get food-grains at least for a year. "Their children should get free education and all health schemes should be extended to them. Most important, the government should ban alcohol and gambling in Vidarbha."

Areas from Western Vidarbha and Marathwada (1,200 deaths), which largely depend on rain, have seen maximum farmer suicides, said Tiwari. The activist added that Amravati, Akola, Washim, Yavatmal, Buldhana, Nanded, Parbhani, Hingoli and Beed are the other stages in Maharashtra where this human tragedy is playing out.

'CM understands issue well'

Tiwari said CM Fadnavis, who is from Nagpur, understands the ordeal farmers are going through. "I have sent a number of SMSes to draw his attention to the crisis. Four farmers ended their lives on the day when he took oath. The CM has been maintaining that he would look into this issue."

विषय -महाराष्ट्रातील कोरडवाहू दुष्काळग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांना वाचविण्यासाठी सरकारने तात्काळ  देण्याकरीता मागणीपत्र 

महोदय ,

सादर नमस्कार ,

आपण महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री झाल्याने आमचे स्वप्न पुर्ण झाले कारण विदर्भाचे दुखाने जाणणारा 'जाणता राजा ' महाराष्ट्राचा मुख्यमंत्री झाला मागील १५ वर्ष आपण विदर्भाच्या शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्यांवर व आदिवासींच्या प्रश्नांवर सतत सोबत लढा दिला आहे व मागील लोकसभा व विधानसभेत निवडणुकीत आम्हीं शेतकऱ्याच्या व आदिवासींच्या हिताकरीता आपल्या विनातीवरून विनाशर्त पाठींबा दिला होता त्यामुळे या  आपुलकीने हे मागणीपत्र पाठवीत आहे ,आपण २९ नोहेम्बरला अमरावतीला येत आहात अशी माहिती विभागीय आयुक्तांनी मला दिली आहे व मी त्यांची स्वखर्चाने भेट घेऊन पोटतिडकीने  मागील १५  वर्षात विदर्भाच्या कृषी संकटाचा झालेला बाजार व ११ हजारावर झालेल्या शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या व सरकारने न केलेल्या उपाययोजनांचा व  मेलेल्या  शेतकऱ्याच्या टाळूवरचे लोणी खाणाऱ्यांची यादीच दिली आहे .  

आपण शेतकरी वाचवा व या कोरडवाहु शेतकऱ्यांना मदतीचा हात देण्यास गंभीर आहात हे वाचून आनंद झाला व यासाठी अत्यंत जरुरी  मागण्या व मुद्दे देणे मला गरजेचे वाटते ,ते  खालील प्रमाणे आहेत 

-कोरडवाहु शेतकऱ्यांच्या  प्रमुख मागण्या

 मुबईत विधानभवनात सत्ता स्थापनेचा गदारोळ सुरु असतांना  विदर्भात त्याचं तीन दिवसात १२ शेतकरी नापिकी व उपासमारीला कंटाळून आपली जुवन यात्रा संपवीत होते त्याचं वेळी अधिकारी सुखी आहे अशी  ओरड सरकार दरबारी करीत होते ज्या १२ शेतकऱ्यांनी या तीन दिवसात त्यांची ओळख अशी आहे 

१. संदीप मुळे उदानापूर बुलढाणा 

२. शांताराम देशमुख डोंगरकिह्नी  वाशीम 

३. महादेव खोजे  बोरगाव चंद्रपूर 

४. गणेश केवदे कौदाण्य्पूर अमरावती 

५.  फुलसिंग राठोड सावरगाव यवतमाळ 

६. बाबूलाल चव्हाण रामनगर यवतमाळ

तर या महिन्यात विदर्भात २४ शेतकर्यानी आत्महत्या केल्या आहेत 

त्यामध्ये  -अमरावती -४ यवतमाळ -१४ -बुलडाणा -२  -वाशीम २ गोंदिया -१ चंद्रपूर -१ तर यावर्षी विदर्भात ९७२ शेतकर्यांनी आत्महत्या केल्या असून सरकार मात्र 

विदर्भातील अमरावती, अकोला, यवतमाळ, बुलडाणा, वाशीम आणि वर्धा या सहा जिल्ह्यामंध्ये एकूण १०,७३४ आत्महत्यांपैकी ४०७१ शेतकऱ्यांना सरकारने पात्र ठरवले तर ६४४३ शेतकरी अपात्र ठरवले. २०० प्रकरणे अद्यापही प्रलंबित आहे ,अशी माहिती विदर्भ जनांदोलन समितीचे नेते किशोर तिवारी यांनी आज दिली . 

शेतकऱ्यांच्या  प्रश्नावर  चर्चा 

विदर्भातीलशेतकऱ्यांनी मागील काही महिन्यांमध्ये नापिकीला कंटाळून केलेल्या आत्महत्यांबाबत 1.विदर्भ जनआंदोलन समितीचे किशोर तिवारी यांनी  ज्ञानेश्वरराजुरकर, विभागीयआयुक्त, अमरावती यांची  भेट घेतली. या भेटीत त्यांनी शेतकऱ्यांना मदत करणाऱ्या मागण्या केल्या आहेत दिल्या त्यात तिवारी यांनी केलेल्या मागणीनुसार नुकसानग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांना तातडीने २० हजार रुपये प्रतिहेक्टर नुकसानभरपाई द्यावी. जेणेकरून या रकमेचा शेतकऱ्यांना तातडीने फायदा होईल आणि शेतकरी आत्महत्येकडे वळणार नाही. याव्यतिरिक्त शेतकऱ्यांचे लाखापर्यंतचे पीक कर्ज तातडीने माफ करावे, अशीही मागणी केली. कर्ज माफ केले तर शेतकऱ्यांच्या डोक्यावरील कर्जाचे ओझे कमी होईल. केंद्र सरकारने सुरू केलेल्या अन्न सुरक्षा योजनेत सर्व शेतकरी सहभागी करून घ्यावे. शेतकऱ्यांना अन्न सुरक्षा योजना लागू केली तर त्यांच्या घरचा अन्नधान्याचा प्रश्न सुटेल आणि शेतकरी आत्महत्या करणार नाही. राजीव गांधी आरोग्य योजनेत शेतकऱ्यांना समाविष्ट करावे, अशीही मागणी तिवारी यांनी केली. तर शेतकऱ्यांच्या मुलांचा संपूर्ण शिक्षणाचा खर्च राज्य सराकारने करावा आणि चांगल्या दर्जाचे शिक्षण मोफत द्यावे, असेही समितीने सुचवले आहे. त्यांचा विचार होणे आवश्यक आहे  या मागण्या सरकारपर्यंत पोहोचवू असे आश्वासन  ज्ञानेश्वरराजुरकर, विभागीयआयुक्त, अमरावती यांनी यावेळी दिले अशी माहिती तिवारी यांनी दिली . 

राज्यातनव्याने सत्तेत आलेल्या भाजपने शेतकरी आत्महत्यांच्या प्रश्नावर वेळोवेळी आंदोलनात्मक भूमिका घेतली होती. आता, केंद्रात आणि राज्यात भाजप सत्तेत आहे. विदर्भ जनआंदोलन समितीने केलेल्या पाच मागण्या या सरकारने पूर्ण कराव्यात. जेणेकरून शेतकरी आत्महत्येच्या दिशेने वळणार नाही.'' किशोरतिवारी, विदर्भजनआंदोलन समिती यांनी केली आहे

येत्या २९ तारखेला मुख्यमंत्री अमरावतीला येत असुन मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या दौऱ्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर विभागीय आयुक्तालयाचे प्रशासन कामाला लागले आहे. फडणवीस यांनी पहिल्याच बैठकीत शेतकरी आत्महत्यांच्या विषयावर आढावा घेण्याचे ठरवले आहे. मुख्यमंत्र्यांच्या दौऱ्याच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर विभागीय आयुक्तालयाचे प्रशासन कामाला लागले आहे. फडणवीस यांनी पहिल्याच बैठकीत शेतकरी आत्महत्यांच्या विषयावर आढावा घेण्याचे ठरवले आहे. तिवारी यांनी केलेल्या मागणीनुसार नुकसानग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांना तातडीने २० हजार रुपये प्रतिहेक्टर नुकसानभरपाई द्यावी. जेणेकरून या रकमेचा शेतकऱ्यांना तातडीने फायदा होईल आणि शेतकरी आत्मह्येकडे वळणार नाही. याव्यतिरिक्त शेतकऱ्यांचे लाखापर्यंतचे पीक कर्ज तातडीने माफ करावे, अशीही मागणी केली. कर्ज माफ केले तर शेतकऱ्यांच्या डोक्यावरील कर्जाचे ओझे कमी होईल. केंद्र सरकारने सुरू केलेल्या अन्न सुरक्षा योजनेत सर्व शेतकरी सहभागी करून घ्यावे. शेतकऱ्यांना अन्न सुरक्षा योजना लागू केली तर त्यांच्या घरचा अन्नधान्याचा प्रश्न सुटेल आणि शेतकरी आत्महत्या करणार नाही. राजीव गांधी आरोग्य योजनेत शेतकऱ्यांना समाविष्ट करावे, अशीही मागणी तिवारी यांनी केली. तर शेतकऱ्यांच्या मुलांचा संपूर्ण शिक्षणाचा खर्च राज्य सराकारने करावा आणि चांगल्या दर्जाचे शिक्षण मोफत द्यावे, असेही समितीने सुचवले आहे. त्यांचा विचार होणे आवश्यक आहे.

राजकारणात सत्ताभोगु राजकीय पक्ष शेतकऱ्यांचा प्रश्नांचा बाजार आपल्या निवडणुकीसाठी कसा करतात व नंतर त्याच बळीराजाला आत्महत्या करण्यास कसे सोडून देतात याचा चांगला अनुभव विदर्भाच्या नापिकीग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांना होत आहे . 

शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या , कापसाला सहा हजार भाव, नापिकीग्र्सताना मदत ,थकित पिक कर्जमाफीची  या मागण्या  गेल्या १५ वर्षांपासून भाजपचे नेते करीत होते मात्र मागील आठवड्यात  गेल्या १५ वर्षांपासून सत्तेत असताना कधीही या  प्रश्नांवर  आवाज न उठवलेल्या काँग्रेसने शेतकऱ्यांच्या प्रश्नावर आपणच शेतकऱ्यांचे कैवारी असल्याचे दावा करून  काँग्रेसला आता बळीराजाची आठवण झाली. नवे सरकार स्थापन होताच ​गेल्या पंधरवड्यात शेतकऱ्यांची स्थिती बदलल्याचा आव काँग्रेसने आणला. प्रदेशाध्यक्ष माणिकराव ठाकरे यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली पक्षाच्या एका शिष्टमंडळाने मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांची भेट घेऊन शेतकऱ्यांच्या समस्यांची कैफियत मांडली एरवी सत्तेत असताना प्रदेशाध्यक्ष माणिकराव ठाकरे यांना मागील १५ वर्षात राज्यात झालेल्या ४०,००० हजार शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या दिसल्या नाहीत त्यांच्या यवतमाळ जिल्यात  ११ हजारावर शेतकऱ्यांनी आत्महत्या केल्या मात्र एकाही शेतकऱ्याचा दारावर गेले नाही आज जे शहाणपण व शेतकऱ्यांचे दुख त्यांनी १५ वर्षाच्या सत्तेत चाणले असते तर काँग्रेसची हि दशा झाली नसती कमीत त्यांचे पुत्र राहुल बाबांचा दारूण पराभव तर झाला नसता अशी टीका मागील २० वर्षापासून शेतकऱ्यांच्या याच प्रश्नांवर सतत लढणारे शेतकरी नेते यांनी केली आहे .  

काँग्रेसने कापूस खरेदी सुरू झाली नसल्याने शेतकरी विवंचनेत आहेत. शेतकऱ्यांची अडचण लक्षात घेऊन व्यापाऱ्यांनी कमी किंमतीत कापूस खरेदी करणे सुरू केले. या पार्श्वभूमीवर कापसाला साडेपाच हजार ते सहा हजार रुपये भाव देऊन तात्काळ खरेदी सुरू करावी तसेच, मका, धान, ज्वारी आणि डाळ खरेदी केंद्र सुरू करण्याची मागणी केली आहे तसेच पावसामुळे लहरीपणामुळे सोयाबीन उत्पादकांना जबर फटका बसला. दुबार पेरणीनंतरही पीक हातात आले नाही. अनेक जिल्ह्यांतील सोयाबीन उत्पादक उद्ध्वस्त झाले. त्यांना तातडीने एकरी १० हजार रुपये मदत द्यावी तसेच, कोकणातील धान उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांना आर्थिक मदत करावी हि  प्रदेशाध्यक्ष माणिकराव ठाकरे यांची मागणी रास्त असुन विदर्भ जनांदोलन समितीने  त्यांना आपला खुला पाठींबा दिला आहे व सरकारने तात्काळ पाऊले उचलावी अशी विनंती सुद्धा केली  आहे .

शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या रोखा , कापसाला सहा हजार भाव दया , नापिकीग्र्सताना मदत ,थकित पिक कर्जमाफीची  या मागण्या घेऊन निवडणुकीच्या पूर्वी मोर्च्यावर मोर्चा काढणारे महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस आज या विषयावर बोलण्याचे टाळत आहेत . ज्या मोदींनी वर्धा येथे लोकसभा निवडणुकीचा प्रचार सुरु करतांना लागवड खर्च अधिक ५० % नफा असा भाव देऊ ,सर्व कोरडवाहू दुष्काळग्रस्त शेतकऱ्यांचे पिककर्ज व वीज बिल माफ करू असे आश्वासन जनतेला वारंवार दिले होते मात्र मागील चार महिन्यात पंतप्रधान मोदींना या सर्व आश्वासनाचा पार विसर पडला आहे तसेच अवकाळी पाऊस, अतिवृष्टी, कोरडा दुष्काळ असा चक्रात शेतकरी फसला आहे , त्यामुळे राज्याच्या सर्व भागातील शेतकऱ्यांना मोठ्या प्रमाणात नुकसान सोसावे लागले, संकटात आलेल्या शेतकऱ्यांना दिलासा देण्यासाठी कर्ज माफी योजना राबवावी. निवडणुकीपूर्वी भाजपने शेतकऱ्यांच्या प्रश्नावर मोर्चा काढला होता, आता सत्तेत आल्याने न्याय देण्यासाठी तात्काळ पावले उचलावी, याची आठवणही किशोर तिवारी  यांनी मुख्यमंत्र्यांना करून दिली.

When in cities and towns of agrarian crisis hit western vidarbha the celebrations of elected MLAs and ministers are in full swing same in remote villages   of same region farmers are committing suicides as reports of six more distressed debt-trapped starving farmer’s suicides in last 48 hours surfaced today and out of six ill-fated farmers 3 are from the farm suicide epicenter Yavatmal  and two  from washim and one from Amravati districts indentified as per reports are

 1.waman Rathode  of village Talni(kurha) in yavatmal2.vinod rathode  of  fulsawangi in yavatmal 3.bandu zingapawar of brahmangoan(shyampur) in Yavatmal district ,4.santosh rathode of  manora in washim 5.Bhagwan Jogdande of malegoan in washim6.devidas surjoshi ) village chandur bazaar in amaravati ,taking toll 946 in 2014 , Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti (VJAS) chief Kishire Tiwari said today.

‘we have trying to contact Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadanvis but he is busy in other appointments  hence briefed very critical ground condition of vidarbha and marathawada  to his chief secretary Pravin Pardesi who was divisional commissioner in Amaravati and good knowledge of ongoing agrarian crisis   and updated prevailing actuate distress and pathetic condition of starving western vidarbha rural community and urged him to inform very busy Maharashtra CM to stop ongoing  innocent farmers genocide as he was one who was fighting for relief to distressed Maharashtra farmers earlier as BJP state unit president’ Tiwari  added.

 ‘Vidarbha region which is known as farm suicide capital of India since 2004 has voted BJP in recently concluded assembly election ,same was trend in last parliament election of April 2014 , as people have been disappointed by Congress ruled Governments at the centre and state ,BJP has promised to address core issues of distress which is prevailing debt, loss making   market prices of cotton an soybean,urgent compensation for the crop failure  but healing touch from PM Modiji is not coming moreover State BJP leaders has lost is focus over the agrarian crisis of region as they are involved in ‘Power Politics’ hence now there is only hope from new CM to intervene to stop this vidarbha farmers genocide ‘ Tiwari urged

 ‘High hopes and toll promises given by Indian prime minister and state leaders to more than 10 million cotton ,soybean and paddy growing farmers that minimum support price will given on the basis formula that farmers investment plus 50% profit and drought affected   dry land Maharashtra farmers to get complete farm loan waiver these promises has not even appeared in the manifesto of BJP but very worse 15 year experience of  Cong-NCP has no option left but recent apathy  is increasing  despair and gloom in cotton farming community  hence vidarbha farmers are no looking  towards new CM to visit recent farmers suicides reported villages in vidarbha and understand ground reality and resolve the farm debt, cotton soybean MSP issue urgently’ Tiwari said  

Globalization-Free trade besides Unpredictable rains with intermittent dry or wet droughts lead to crop failures and increasing cost of inputs and cultivation practices, mono-culture or dependence on a single crop only, poor awareness of agronomics, and lack of proper farm credit availability lead to an increased hold of private moneylenders are core issues Indian budget should address, said Tiwari, whose NGO has been documenting the Vidarbha crisis since 1995.

VJAS recalled promise of PM Modiji of  introducing the renowned farm scientist M S Swaminathan's formula for fixation of MSP which provides for cost plus 50 per cent remuneration to the farmers as the basis of fixation of MSP for agricultural crops should be looked into during the process of finalization of Union Budget for 2014-15 that is only way to make agriculture far more sustainable besides ensuring no farmer was compelled to either leave this occupation or commit suicide.

As most of distressed  Small and marginal farmers who committing suicide are debt trapped hence complete loan waiver and  Fresh interest free short term crop loans whereas other farmers should be given crop loans at 2 per cent, urging for one time debt relief package should be provided for all farmers, Tiwari added.

As earlier agricultural development policies failed to remove ever-increasing stress on dying farmers allowing mass genocide of more than 3 lacs farmers mostly involved in to cash crops subjected free market  price speculations and needs protected economy on price front  with reintroduction  direct    subsidies for promoting sustainable agriculture hence this appeal, Tiwari urged    

‘This year too earlier monsoon delayed by two months and now after 15 September there is dry spell and Govt. has already declared    most of western vidarbh as drought prone too, hence issue raising minimum support price of cotton, soybean and paddy is critical and frem farm credit with complete loan waiver is must . Vidarbha Janandolan Samti (VJAS) has earlier too  drawn attention of  PM  toward the latest National Crime Records Bureau report that since 1995 to 2013 more than 3,00,000 farmland suicides reveal that every fifth farmer who ended his/her life in the country is dry land  cotton farmer from Maharashtra whereas  with 3,146 distressed farmers ending their lives last year, Maharashtra has topped the list of farmland suicides in the country hence this is need of the hour to adopt pro-poor farmers policies to stop innocent cotton  farmers genocide which was triggered in last regime of NDA when quantitative restrictions on import was lifted under the WTO conditions of free trade treaties  ,(VJAS) chief Kishore Tiwari said today.
