Activist group working for Vidarbha farmers to asked AAP Activist Anjali Damania  to come clean on the media report that she has accumulated huge wealth by floating income tax laws and has been working on the agenda run Maharashtra Chief Minister Prathviraj Chavan and BJP leader Gopinath Munde to defame BJP ex-National president  Nitin Gadkari  as these allegations are creating doubts  in the mind of thousands of AAP well-wishers and  voters of Nagpur whom she is asking to defeat Nitin Gadkari even they are not voting to her indirectly asking people to vote for Congress Party that is much more shocking hence she should come clean on these allegations as common man is very much optimistic regarding anti-graft activities of AAP hence this request, Kishore Tiwari of VJAS informed in press release today  

 It is reported in leading Marathi daily that AAP Activist Anjali Damania is being used by Maharashtra CM and BJP leader Gopinath munde and his group to damage creditability of BJP Nagpur Loksabha Candidate Nitin Gadkari and her statements in last one year shows same trend which creates doubts in mind of common voters hence she should come clean on this issue .

It is also reported that AAP Activist Anjali Damania had accumulated huge wealth from her “Alpine Village” a multi-crore Project consisting of posh Villas at Kondhane Village in Karjat, District Raigadh. Her Company recorded 180 times profit in the deal but she conceals the profit from the Public, as she failed to file Annual Reports of the Company- Shri Varadvinayak Developers Private Limited to the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai for the year 2011, 2012 and 2013. It brings to the light her ill-intension and apprehension of amassing Black Money from the deal and this charges are very serious and against AAP own guidelines of granting character certificate moreover it is also reported that She filed a PIL in Bombay High Court against F.A.Enterprises regarding construction of Kalu Dam in the vicinity of her multi-crore project in 2011 with Ajay Mathankar, whose father Vijay Mathankar being Whole-time Director of DB Group Companies which was promoted and backed by Shahid Balwa who came to light after 2G Scam hence such serious allegations is completely contrary to her claims of being Anti-Corruption crusader she was accompanied by such person who accumulated huge amount of Black Money hence her proving innocent is must ,Tiwari added .

More shocking these allegations social media has been reporting that Anjali Damania’s husband Anish Damania was the head of Institutional Equity at “Emkay Global Financial Services”. The said company placed more than 60 erroneous Institutional orders worth $125 million which equals to about Rs. 750 Crores which cause serious damage to the trade at National Stock Exchange on October 5, 2012 hence picture being painted AAP  Social Activist Anjali Damania alleged to have  amassed huge wealth under the guise of Social Service, has been disturbing AAP voters hence she is urged to come forward to clarification about the facts ,Tiwari added.

NAGPUR: The Maharashtra Human Rights Commission has issued summons to Yavatmal collector directing him to appear before it on February 17 or to present his report on the complaint filed by Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti President Kishore Tiwari. The complaint is regarding plight of tribals of Jhari taluka and the dismal conditions in which they are forced to live.

Tiwari alleged that several irregularities were detected in public distribution system but despite a high court order to set things right, the grains supply remained irregular. "The poor Kolam tribe members do not get subsidized foodgrains for three months in a row. Grains meant for them are sold in open market," Tiwari said in his plea.

He also alleged that because of the apathy of the district administration, the tribals were leading a miserable life. The government hospitals had no doctors and the wards were used for housing staff like nurses. The condition of ashramshalas (special schools for tribals) was worse. At one such residential school for girls, the toilet is locked and inmates have to wait till dark to defecate in open, he added.

The government had given an assurance in the court in 2001 that the tribals would be provided with houses and proper shelters. Till date the promise has not been fulfilled because of the callous attitude of the district officials concerned. Acting on Tiwari' s petition, the Commission asked the district collector to be present before the Commission at its office in Mumbai on Feb 17 at 11am to respond to the complaints.

AAP icon Arvind Kejriwal visited farm suicide hit west-vidarbha in 2012 and blamed political corruption is only reason of cotton farmers suicides and anti-graft regulator is the only solution to the agrarian crisis but that argument was not digested by many agrarian experts and not taken seriously but now AAP has been projected as National alternatives   to UPA-NDA who supporting neo-globalization, free trade and have allowed MNCs take over control over water, food and in process to grab control over land too through private participation and these anti-farmer policies one hand forcing the thousands of farmers to kill themselves and other hand Govt. talks about second green revolution with help of American genetically engineered technology hence AAP should come out with clear stand on these anti-farmers policies promoted UPA-NDA ,hence this appeal, Tiwari added.

Vidarbha Janandolan Samiti activist group  has come out openly to support  Shivsena and all party action committee stir against   rampant corruption and massive exploitation at all Toll-Plazas throughout Kolhapur  and demanded the urged to scrap all BOT agreements allowing such Toll collection centers  where roads  are even completed and damaged and ten time cost of the project is recovered being operated  in to alleged nexus in  political leaders, babus and contractors even judiciary is being used to legitimize this illegal Toll Gate scam by giving misleading information’s  before all toll booths are set on fire like Kolhapur metro   , Kishore Tiwari  President VJAS informed in press release today.

In vidarbha which is backward region of Maharashtra hundreds of BOT roads needlessly constructed with giving exaggerated cost escalations in some cases 10-20 times from real cost of construction ,some of four lane roads have been replaced by good working condition two lane road even when there was no vehicular traffic on the route ,most of BOT operator in vidarbha is business partner of political party in power or main opposition party and this fact is known to all section of civil society and media  till crop of Toll Plaza is mushrooming day by day even after there is strong protest from local residents but powerful mafias are just suppressing the unrest  with muscle power and political-administrative protection and revolt like Kolhapur is only solution for illumination of Toll-Raj in vidarbha, Tiwari added.

‘Vidarbha there is massive backlog of road and under constitutional provision of section 371,Govt. should pay the real cost of project and scarp all agreement  of going or existing BOT road project   other wise Toll-Plaza will give humiliating defeat like Delhi to Maharashtra Govt.’. Tiwari warned .

“Govt. should look in to facts of the study report 2013 done by the Transport Corporation of India and IIM Calcutta that Slow truck speeds on highways and delays at toll plazas are costing the country about Rs.60,000 crore a year, but recent facts are more shocking that more than Rs.60,000 crore  by the BOT operators by way collecting unjustified and unlawful levy  from innocent transporters lastly poor common man has to pay it   hence whole issue on going TOLLGATE scam is national issue not limited to Maharashtra and now time has come to brake  this unholy cartel of top political leaders to stop this flood of tolls and people will have liberty to move freely in this so called liberated democratic India” Tiwari added.

‘Last anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare demanded  closer of all Tolls and threaten stir and surprisingly PWD Minister of Maharashtra  closed more than 27 MSSRDC tolls to pacify  Annaji but after three month all tolls were reopened ,it shows that tolls are being opened and run as per wish and will of minister and unholy nexus between political parties are allowing the misdeed to continue that much more humiliating hence we are supporting stir and will take this issue to all legal forum of redressal ’ Tiwari said .

Having awaited for last 9 years lastly Maharashtra Govt. has now decided to look in to issues of the 225 hector  farm land, 80% is rain fed in Maharashtra  who are in debt trapped and despair and distress is forcing them to kill themselves and per record of NCRB more than 60,000 dry land farmers have committed suicides  since 1997 hence this important decision, the state cabinet at its special meeting on Thursday gave approval to the Rs20,000 crore Dryland Farming Mission which is a Central government scheme under Bharat Nirman campaign under project a integrated approach to implement all Central and state schemes to be grouped to find ways to improve dry land farmers' economical condition ,this is one of the attempt to introduce sustainable farming  and crop patterns to dying farmers who are innocent victims of MNC base rain sensitive cash crop farming  hence we welcome the decision , said Vidarbha Jan Andolan Samiti president Kishore Tiwari

"The proposal has been awaiting government green signal for quite some time. So, it's better late than never," said VJAS  chief Tiwari. He hoped concerted efforts would be made to wean away farmers from cash crops that have ruined the economy in dry land farming. Welcoming the mission, he said, "Ideally, subsidy or incentive should be provided for promoting food crops."

In Maharashtra total population of the state, 55% is engaged in agriculture and  the 225 lakh hectares available for cultivation, as much as 80% is dry land, without any assured irrigation and totally dependent on natural rainfall. While smaller section of farmers having irrigation facilities reap better, multiple harvests and corner major incentives like water and power subsidies, dry land farmers live under perennial uncertainties. Besides no guarantee of good yields year after year, market fluctuations squeeze their annual income, mostly obtained from single cash crop and these are reasons drawing them in debt trapped and forcing them to commit suicides hence giving focus to dry land farmers was much needed and long pending demand of vidarbha-Marathawada region addressing crisis and efforts to  improve yield, provide allied income generation avenues like fishery and dairy farming, and shifting crop pattern from cash to food crops even the decision has been taken keeping eye on next election but as activist of dry land farmers we welcome the move, Tiwari added.

VJAS support the dryland  mission objective of  multiple crop system, changing crop patterns, changes in intercropping, introduction of private forests, animal husbandry and fisheries but  strongly opposed the introduction  private participation and public-private participation in agrarian sector ,Tiwari said

कृषिमंत्री शरद पवार यांच्या पुढाकाराने नागपूर येथे ५५ कोटी रुपये खर्च करून फेब्रुवारी महिन्याच्या दुसर्‍या आठवड्यात कापूस संशोधन संस्थेच्या पांजरी येथील आवारात आयोजित अखिल भारतीय कृषी प्रदर्शन ‘कृषी वसंत’चे आयोजन केले आहे. विदर्भातील आत्महत्या केलेल्या १० हजार शेतकर्‍यांच्या विधवांनी या प्रदर्शनाला प्रखर विरोध केला आहे.

 विदर्भातील ३० लाख शेतकरी नापिकी व कर्जबाजारीपणामुळे त्रस्त असताना, आत्महत्येचा मार्ग अवलंबित असताना, ३ हजार कोटींची मदत घोषित करून एक दमडीही या सरकारने दिलेली नाही. सार्‍या भारतात शेतकर्‍यांच्या आत्महत्येची राजधानी म्हणून प्रसिद्ध असलेल्या विदर्भात ५५ कोटी रुपये खर्च करून कोरडवाहू शेतकर्‍यांच्या दिवाळीखोरी व आत्महत्येला निमंत्रण देणारे बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपन्यांचे तंत्रज्ञान विकण्याचा गोरखधंदा शरद पवार यांनी बंद करावा, अशी मागणी विदर्भ शेतकरी विधवा संघटनेच्या अध्यक्ष बेबी बैस यांनी केली आहे.

 महाराष्ट्राचे अतिरिक्त मुख्य कृषी सचिव डॉ. सुधीर गोयल यांच्याप्रमाणे शरद पवार यांनी कृषी प्रदर्शनाला ४५ कोटी रुपये, तर महाराष्ट्र सरकारने १० कोटी रुपये तातडीने उपलब्ध करून दिले आहेत. संपूर्ण भारतातून १० लाख शेतकरी नागपूरला येणार असून यासाठी नागपूरमधील १३० मंगल कार्यालये, सर्व सरकारी निवासस्थाने आरक्षित करण्यात आले असून शेकडो बसेस, रेल्वे बुक करण्यात आल्या आहेत. या शेतकर्‍यांना सरकार ज्या कापूस तंत्रज्ञानामुळे विदर्भात मागील दशकात १० हजार शेतकर्‍यांनी आत्महत्या केल्या ते ‘तंत्रज्ञान’ दाखविणार काय, असा प्रश्‍न शेतकरी विधवा अपर्णा मालीकर यांनी उपस्थित केला आहे.

 सध्या विदर्भ ही शेतकर्‍यांच्या आत्महत्येची राजधानी होत असताना नागपूर कृषी प्रदर्शन भरविणार्‍यांच्या राजधानीचे स्थान म्हणून समोर येत आहे. भारतात सर्व जिल्ह्यांच्या ठिकाणी कृषी विज्ञान केंद्र आहेत, कापूस संशोधन परिषदेचे भारताच्या चारही दिशांना संशोधन केंद्रे आहेत व राष्ट्रीय स्तरावर शेकडो कृषी विद्यापीठे आहेत. तरीही नागपूरला सार्‍या देशातील शेतकरी आणून त्यांना विदेशी कृषी तंत्रज्ञान दाखविण्याचा ‘प्रयोग’ शरद पवार करत असल्याचा आरोप विदर्भ जनआंदोलन समितीने केला आहे.

 या प्रयोगाला विदर्भातील शेतकरी विधवांचा नैतिक विरोध असून हे सरकार डॉ. स्वामीनाथन समिती व डॉ. नरेंद्र जाधव समिती यांच्या शिफारशी मान्य करूनही काहीच करत नसल्याचा त्यांचा आरोप आहे. उपासमारीला तोंड देत असलेल्या १० हजार शेतकरी विधवांना साधे अन्न व आरोग्य सुरक्षा आणि शिक्षण सवलती देण्यासाठी सरकारांजवळ पैसे नाही हे कारण समोर करीत आहे. त्या केंद्र व राज्य सरकारांजवळ ‘या‘ उधळपट्टीसाठी ५५ कोटी रुपये कसेे उपलब्ध झाले, असा सवालही शेतकरी विधवांनी केला आहे.

 सरकारने हे नियोजित ‘कृषी वसंत’ प्रदर्शन रद्द करून ४५ कोटी रुपये विधवांच्या कल्याण निधीला दिले नाही, तर प्रदर्शनाच्या पांजरी येथील मुख्य दारासमोर शेतकरी विधवांचा उपोषण सत्याग्रह सुरू होईल, असा इशारा शेतकरी विधवांच्या हक्कसाठी लढणारे विदर्भ जनआंदोलन समितीचे नेते किशोर तिवारी यांनी दिला आहे.
