Maharashtra Govt. decision to include all debt trapped dry land farmers of Vidarbha
and Marathwada without 2 Hector land condition

farmers of 14 districts of west Vidarbha and Marathwada in massage to
Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadanvis has welcomed decision of giving modified
farm loan waiver up to Rs.1 lakh to Maharashtra farmers covering all farmers of
region without any condition of land holding as earlier National mega farm loan
waiver given by UPA Govt. in 2008-09 has 2 hector limits which kept most of
crisis driven and distressed of farmers
of Vidarbha and Marathwada and same criteria of small and marginal is repeated
will keep most of dry land drought affected
farmers of 14 districts of west Vidarbha and Marathwada.
Tiwari also thanked CM to give special farm loan waiver
incentives to farmers who have been repaying crop loan regularly and exclude
farmers who are paying income tax and earning other than agrarian activity.RBI
should put compulsory for all PSU Banks to give fresh crop loan every farmers
who has been given loan waiver by the
state ,Tiwari added.

than 4 million dry land drought
affected farmers of 14 districts of
west Vidarbha and Marathwada regarding stringent condition of putting land
holding limit of 2 hector , chief
minister Devendra Fadanvis has assured him that as he has raised issue of
unjust happened with dry land farmers of Vidarbha and Marathwada national mega
farm loan waiver given by UPA Govt. in 2008-09,this time due care will be taken
to protect interest to address the farm debt issue of dryland farmers who are
having land but very low earning ,Tiwari
added.
Farm task force has urged chief
minister Devendra Fadanvis if blanket loan to all distress farmers more than 4
million dry land drought affected farmers of 14 districts of west Vidarbha and
Marathwada then keep land holding limit up to 5 hector for dry land farmers if
it is kept 2 hector for farmers with irrigation facility or farm loan with
blanket limit up to Rs.two lakh farm debt is given most of crisis driven and
distressed of farmers of Vidarbha and
Marathwada will be covered who are in deep trouble and will keep rich farmers
out to network loan waiver, Tiwari urged .
Tiwari recalled that when
National mega farm loan waiver given by UPA Govt. in 2008-09 was given most of
it’s benefits of taken away by rich farmers and banks to clear out their NPA
and hence it should legitimate compulsion to fresh credit to all farmers whose
farm loan has waived of to avoid the misuse of farm loan waiver .
