taking too 29 in this month whereas 1142 innocent distressed and aid starved farmers killed themselves in year 2014 Vidarbha Janandolan Samti convener Kishor Tiwari informed today .
VJAS has urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi  to look into vidarbha agrarian crisis as situation is getting worst day by day as on today relief aid announced by state administration Rs.2000 crore has not disbursed but relief amount is too low as it is being disbursed to 8 million drought hit farmers of around 25 thousands villages in Maharashtra where as high level under Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting for Central Assistance to States affected by natural disasters at delhi on Wednesday   which was attended by  the Union Minister for Finance Shri Arun Jaitley, the Union Minister of Agriculture Shri Radha Mohan Singh has not taken Maharashtra farm crisis for discussion as state has asked for urgent relief of Rs.3980 crore ,this is very unfortunate and adding fuel in the crisis resulting farmers suicides ,Tiwari added.

Last year in national and state election community  vidarbha farmers voted BJP to power after PM narendra modji has promised to end very sad saga of farmers suicides by addressing core of agrarian crisis which are cost, credit and selection of sustainable crop by providing MSP as per formula of investment plus 50% profit and farm loan waiver to all debt trapped distressed dry land farmers and promotion of sustainable crop pattern but even after 8 months nothing has been done and existing drought has added fuel restarting farm suicide spiral ,hence we want that PM Modi should  fulfill BJP election promise and stop farmers genocide , Tiwari said .
